scammers are everywhere. there are scammers in RL and scammers IG. people are lazy as a whole and that is why they scam. Face it, get over it, learn to love it, because scammers are like gnats, they never go away.

Scammers will always be around, but at least most people are now wise to them and don't let themselves get sucked in

Sympathy to those who have been scammed once.

Shame on those who have been scammed more then once.

Ditto. Plus don't dare anyone say if they get scammed a first time there an idiot or dumb or whatever as they could be new to the game or it could be a tricky scam.

Eh that might be true, new people, but even a new person can smell a scam in a second if smart enough.

People join other games through games. Scammers are the same going from game to game. Scams in games people who played the game would know, smart new people will see scammers, even if just starting the game.

Factions is coming out and a few eager kids are becoming desperate for gold, so they resort to less-than-honorable ways of making a quick buck on careless players.

I know that jerk. But I kept pressuring him in Chinese to give me a fair price and he gave me 333 gold over the going rate

scammers are everywhere. I seen more crazy way to scam peoples such as the good old Malinon Shield trick where you pay for the shield at 40k and they switch it out with regular Aegis shield.

Most people don't get scammed because they know what to look out for because they have been playing the game for a while. It is pretty hard to get scammed, unless you are a noob, even though GW is noob friendly, scammers aren't.

Is it really that hard to confirm what you're trading before you hit "Accept"?

Not considered scam because he is selling the item for 10k. It is his asking price. No one is telling you to buy it.

Anytime someone cancels a trade with me I go into high alert mode. And always when I'm trading I'll always scroll my mouse over the item I'm buying and look at it's name and stats and what-not for a good 2 seconds at least.
